With over 20 years of experience as a qualified Interior Decorator, Mary Donnelly is the owner and creative principal of Hot Properties Staging & Styling. Mary has a passion for interior design and home makeovers, now specialising in the area of pre-sale staging and styling. Mary has successfully made this 12 year business her passion project.
Caitlin, her co-stager/daughter, has inherited her skills from her mother along with her qualification in visual merchandising. She dabbled in real estate for a while but her passion has since been in small business and anything home interiors. You can imagine it’s a mix for magic!
Whats the best thing about your job?: “I love my job mostly because of the reaction from clients when they’ve sold their home for a price above their expectation and/or within a short time frame. It’s always such an emotional time for our clients but it certainly doesn’t need to be a stressful one! I love the challenge of each project because no two properties are the same!”

What makes you guys such a great team?: “Almost every client asks what it’s like to work with Mum. The answer is always the same (well most of the time!). She is the best in her field and her knowledge of interior design mixed with her way with people makes the process so smooth. We each have different strengths within the business and together it just works!” - Caitlin
